Getting to the Lodge
It is not easy to drive to Yarmouth, but that is what keeps it so beautiful. There are, however, other transportation options for faster travel:
By Air:
Frequent flights from many US airports to Halifax International Airport. (Drive from Halifax International Airport to the property is 3 hours.) Contact Cloud 9 Shuttle or Acadievan for shuttle from Halifax airport.
Daily flights from Portland Airport to Yarmouth Airport (25 minutes from the lodge). Contact Twin Cities Air Service.
A taxi can pick you up at the airport or you can rent a car (AVIS or Enterprise) in Yarmouth.
By Ferry:
The Princess of Acadia Ferry runs from St. John, New Brunswick to Digby, Nova Scotia. Drive from Digby terminal to the property is an additional 1 hour 20 minutes.
A U.S./Yarmouth ferry is scheduled to go into service for summer 2011. Information on this service will be posted as soon as available.
